Purge Signature Rules

Use the Signature Purge Signature Rules dialog box to delete signature rules from the rule base.

There are three choices on which type of rules to purge:

• Archived
  This option deletes all archived signature rules from the rule base.
  After several updates the number of archived rules may grow quite large. Purging them will improve KFSensor's start up performance.
• External
  This option deletes all signature rules that have been imported from an external source from the rule base.
• Current Selection
  This option deletes all signature rules that currently listed in the Edit Signatures dialog list box from the rule base.
